See three stunning temples on the island of Bali during a full-day private Royal Lake and Sea Temple Tour that covers the island from east to west. Visit the royal temple Taman Ayun, the water temple Ulun Danu Bratan, and Tanah Lot temple, in addition to the Bali Botanical Garden. Includes lunch near Lake Bratan, and time to watch the sunset at Tanah Lot.
Start your day with morning pickup from your accommodation in Bali. Head to Bali’s most sacred temple, Taman Ayun, built-in 1634 as the royal temple of the Mengwi Kingdom. The temple is surrounded by a moat, giving the impression of floating in the middle of the lake.
Continue on to the mountain village of Bedugul, situated near Lake Bratan at an elevation of 1,500 meters (4,900 ft) above sea level. Its higher altitude and cooler weather make it the agricultural center for vegetables. Visit the fresh market and the award-winning Bali Botanical Garden, then have lunch at a resort near the lake.
After lunch, take a short walk on the lake to board a traditional boat (jukung). Cruise over to the water temple, Ulun Danu Bratan, for a close view of the iconic temple.
As the day winds down, head to Tanah Lot Temple, which perches on a rocky islet just off the coast, making it a popular photography subject and the perfect place to watch the sunset. After stopping at Tanah Lot, your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel.
